DhruvBose Foundation is an organization dedicated in the memory of Dhruv Bose to fulfil all that he wished for.
On 19 June 1989, A star was born
A star, DHRUV BOSE, was born on 19 June 1989 after many prayers at AIIMS New Delhi. He started going to Mrs Bashir’s Play School Saket. He completed his schooling at St.Paul’s School, New Delhi. He was always praised by teachers. Ms Charu was his favourite teacher. He had many friends in his school days. He started playing the tabla from his school days encouraged by his Music teacher Late Mrs Deepmala.
He graduated from the University of Delhi with a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) degree from the College of Vocational Studies. Furthermore, he also did LLB from Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, the University of Delhi in the year 2016. He completed a Diploma in Spanish as a Foreign Language DELE-B2 from Instituto Cervantes de Nueva Delhi, Ministry of Education(Spain), New Delhi in the year 2012.
He was a member of the India International Photographic Council since 2010. Not only that, but he completed his Diploma course from Camera Art Institute, New Delhi in 2011. He studied photography under the tutelage of Shri. O.P. Sharma, who is regarded as one of the best photographers India has ever produced.
His first Tabla teacher was Shri. Sarthak Mohanty. After few months he went to take Guru-Shishya taleem from Pandit Pradip Sarkar. He was encouraged always in the field of music by Pandit Subrata De, a well-known Sitarist of India and founder of Swaranjali for performing in AIR and stage shows. He played the Tabla both solo and in accompaniment of many artists. Furthermore, he played Tabla Solo in Yuva Vani of AIR. He was blessed by Ustad Zakir Hussain at the Music in the park and Pandit Kishan Maharaj at his home in Varanasi. He also played with the Bengali residents of Saket at Durga Puja. He was very fond of live concerts and enjoyed almost 300 shows in Kammani, IIC, Habitat, Triveni and many places in India. His favourite musicians were Pandit Kumar Bose, Pt. Shubhankar Banerjee, Ustad Shaheed Parvez, Ustad Rashid Khan. Once, he attended a practice session with Ustad Amjad Ali Khan Sarod maestro at his residence at Sadhana Enclave with his disciples.
Dhruv started his career as Independent Spanish Translator with CATAI India Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi.
He started his internship as a lawyer in the Chamber of Shri. Mohit Mathur, Senior Advocate, Hon. High Court of Delhi and in the Chamber of Shri. D.K.Garg, AOR, Hon. Supreme Court of India. He went for Judicial Internship under Hon. Mr Justice S.K. Agnihotri and Hon. Ms Justice Meenakshi M. Young man with bright future in the Rai Hon. High Court of Sikkim, Gangtok, Sikkim in 2016. He started as an advocate as an associate with Equity Law Offices, Chamber block, High Court of Delhi, New Delhi. In the chamber of Mr B.K.Sood, Advocate and Mr R.K.Sachdeva, Advocate New Delhi. Lastly, he was working in the Chamber of Mr Sidhartha Yadav, Senior Advocate, High Court of Delhi.
He was very helpful in his attitude. He was an extremely diligent, capable young man with a bright future in the legal profession as said by the boss. His boss often told him that he will make him and his parents proud one day. Since he was positive, he would excel as a lawyer.
Dhruv will be fondly remembered for his pure and kind heart, adventurous spirit and deep connection he had with his parents. He had an honest, calm and friendly nature. His love for travel, reading, music, and passion for acquiring new skills was admirable. He believed in being genuine and respectful and giving back to those who were less privileged.
DhruvBose Foundation is set up in the memory of Dhruv Bose who departed for heavenly abode on 14 November 2020 at the age of 31. The foundation is a dream that his mother Mrs Sunita and father Mr Ajay Bose are realizing in the memory of their beloved son. He will be remembered for his pure and kind heart, adventurous spirit and the deep connection he had with his parents. His honest, calm and friendly nature, love for travel, reading, music and passion for acquiring new skills is the essence behind setting up Dhruv Bose foundation. He will always live in our hearts and through the countless people that DhruvBose Foundation aims to reach.
